Makeup Tip #1

Summer is fast approaching for us countries in the Southern Hemisphere, but even so, this tip can help to those about to enter into Winter!

Dry skin can be the worst and it affects us all year round, but some seasons are worst than others.

Protecting your skin against the sun is a major priority as too much exposure can pose health issues. One issue regarding the health of your skin is dryness.

When people think of summer skin, many automatically jump to the conclusion that :
Summer = Oily Skin
That can be the case for some, but for others, too much sun exposure can leave your skin dehydrated and in need of moisture desperately. Thankfully, there are a huge range of moisturisers that can ensure your skin can remain looking healthy and moisturised. In winter, dry skin can also cause us grief, due to the crisp winds our body feels when travelling outdoors.

I have two personal favourites when keeping my skin looking fresh and healthy!! Both a popular and affordable which are bonuses when trying to locate an item, knowing its reliability and also helps with your hip-pocket!

1. Palmers Cocoa Butter: I really do not think that I can fault this product at all! The texture is brilliant and the moisturiser soaks into your skin in no time! The scent is amazing, resembling chocolate, however it may not be everyone's favourite, as I do know of some people who just cannot bear the smell! However, if you want a moisturiser to fix your dry skin, this is a sure hit.

2. Nivea Rich Nourishing Lotion (in Very Dry Skin): After being badly sunburnt on a recent holiday (oops!!) my skin was not only very sore and itchy, but extremely tight and dry. Thankfully, this lotion helped with my soreness and dry skin immediately, soaking straight into the skin and smelling amazing!! I highly recommend for dry skin.

I hope this tip was helpful (it's my first one!) and be sure to look out for more tips to keeping you feeling great all year round!
